Delete my GigMe data
You can ask GigMe to permanently delete the data tied to your account at any time.
Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)
Open the GigMe app and go to Settings → Help → Delete my data. This removes your account immediately and wipes the identity, bank, and ITIN data stored in your device's secure keystore.
Option 2 — Email us
If you can no longer open the app, email [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request". Include any reference number from a recent Stripe deposit so we can match the request to your account. We will confirm deletion within five US business days.
What gets deleted
- Your device-bound account record and authentication token
- All income entries you logged
- All deposit history stored by GigMe (Stripe retains its own records for tax and chargeback purposes — see stripe.com/privacy)
- All ITIN application progress data
What is kept
- Pay stubs whose verification codes you've already shared with third parties may be retained in our verification database so those codes continue to resolve. We will strip your personal name from them on request.
- Aggregate, non-identifying usage counts.
- Records we are legally required to keep (for example, financial transaction records required by anti-money-laundering law).
